Our client, a global leader of intelligent print and cost management software solutions, is currently looking for a Software Developer (Java and Embedded).

To be considered you need to be able to participate in the development, coding, and debugging of either new software products or enhancements to existing software. You must be able to work independently in creating modules, subsystems, or applications primarily in Java. You will work as necessary with modules or subsystems for embedded applications development, or customized applications and extensions developed for customers or OEM partners.

To qualify you must have a degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, academic and/or job-related Java programming experience, substantial development experience on Windows or UNIX with strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. “Hands on” development skills in OOD, Patterns, and multithreaded programming with multi-tier architectures are expected. Experience with J2ME, JUnit, Ant, Eclipse, and development in a resource constrained environment is a must. Experience with NetBeans, SOAP, and JavaScript, as well as embedded systems, would be an asset.

Salary dependent on experience.
